How can I port out my phone number?
If you're leaving Xplora and wish to take your phone number with you, you can port your number out to a new provider. Xplora will provide you with the necessary port-out credentials, and you’ll then need to contact your new service provider to initiate the porting process.
To ensure a smooth transition, verify in advance that your new SIM-card is compatible with Xplora watches.
Here’s how the porting process works
- Contact Xplora for port-out credentials. After completing an initial verification, our agents will provide you with the necessary account details for the port-out process.
- Once you have the port-out credentials, contact your new provider and provide them with the information. They will handle the porting request on your behalf. The process typically takes a few hours, but it can take up to a day or two depending on your new provider.
- Ensure your Xplora subscription remains active during the porting process. If your subscription becomes inactive before the port is complete, the process will fail, and you may risk losing your phone number.
- Once the port-out is complete, we recommend logging into your Gigs account to cancel your subscription to avoid additional charges.
How can I port my number in to Xplora?
Porting a phone number to Xplora is currently not possible. Instead, we can provide you with an Xplora SIM-card, allowing you to set up a new subscription with a new phone number.
