Our Xplora watches work like a smartphone and you will need a monthly subscription to enable all the watch's features.
There are two steps you need to complete before you start using your Xplora smartwatch:
- Activate the monthly subscription for your SIM-card and receive a phone number for your Xplora watch.
- Activate the Xplora guardian app and smartwatch.
Let’s get started!
Step 1: Activate your Xplora Connect SIM-card
You will find two leaflets in the watch’s box.
Take out the larger leaflet located on top of the watch and scan the QR code available on the last page to open the Xplora Connect activation page.
After scanning the QR-code, you will be redirected to an activation page where you can sign up for a subscription.
Press ‘Start now’.
Enter your email to sign up.
A security code will be sent to your email address. Enter the code and press ‘Verify’
Start activating your subscription by clicking on ‘Add a Plan’ button.
Register your SIM-card’s ICCID number in the ICCID/IMEI field (visible on the second photo).
You will find your relevant ICCID on the white plastic card previously holding your SIM-card (an example is shown on the first photo).
Select a desired monthly subscription plan.
Plan prices might vary depending on your Xplora model.
Confirm your plan selection.
Register your name and address.
Add Debit/Credit card for payment. Press ‘Continue’ and then “Pay now” to confirm your subscription.
Your subscription plan is ready. The phone number assigned to your watch is visible on the confirmation screen.
Step 2: Activate your watch
The second step before starting to use the watch is to activate the guardian app and the watch itself.
By clicking on ‘Set up device now’ you will get forwarded to a website where you can download the Xplora app.
