Stay informed with Xplora notifications!
The Xplora app keeps you informed about everything happening on your child’s device — from important status updates to useful parental control requests.
Where to find notifications
All alerts and updates from the last 30 days appear under the 🔔 icon in the upper right corner of your app screen. Tap it anytime to check what’s new.
You can filter notifications by device, which is especially helpful if you're managing multiple watches or phones.
⚠️ Urgent alerts, like SOS calls or low battery alerts, will be marked clearly in red on your notifications list.
What you’ll be notified about
Notifications keep you updated on important activity and status changes, including:
- Low battery alerts
- Alerts about the device being turned off or on
- SOS calls
- Safety zone alerts when your child enters or leaves a safe area
- Contact requests
- Requests from your teen, like asking for more screen time or approval for a newly downloaded app on the HMD Fusion X1 Phone
- Blocked call attempts from numbers not on your child’s approved contact list
💡If "Whitelist contacts" is enabled, your child will only receive calls from approved contacts. Any calls attempts from unknown numbers will be blocked — and you’ll receive a notification about the attempt.
You won’t receive notifications for calls from approved contacts — they’re considered safe.
Make sure notifications are also enabled on your phone
To stay fully updated on your child’s activity, make sure notifications from the Xplora app are allowed on your phone. Without those permissions, you might miss important alerts — like low battery warnings or SOS messages.
📱 On iPhone: Go to Settings > Notifications > Xplora and make sure alerts are allowed.
💡 To ensure that your phone displays notifications even when it is in "Do Not Disturb" or "Focus" mode, you may need to adjust the "Focus" settings:
Go to Settings > Focus > Apps > Allowed Apps > Add Xplora to the list.
📱 On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Xplora > Notifications and switch them on.
💡 Look for the option labeled "Apps that can appear on top of others" and set it to "On" or "Allowed" to enable the Xplora app to display urgent alerts, such as SOS notifications, over other apps when necessary.
