How can I port out my phone number?
If you're leaving Xplora and wish to take your phone number with you, you can port your number out to a new provider. Xplora will provide you with the necessary port-out credentials, and you’ll then need to contact your new service provider to initiate the porting process.
Here’s how the porting process works:
- Contact Xplora for port-out credentials
- Once you have the port-out credentials, contact your new provider and provide them with the information. They will handle the porting request on your behalf. The process typically takes a few hours, but it can take up to a day or two depending on your new provider.
- Ensure your Xplora subscription remains active during the porting process. If your subscription becomes inactive before the port is complete, the process will fail, and you may risk losing your phone number.
To ensure a smooth transition
- Verify that your new SIM-card is compatible with Xplora watches.
- Ensure there are no outstanding balances that could delay the porting process.
- When contacting our Customer Support, kindly provide us with the phone number you wish to port and proof of ownership for the subscription.
How can I port my number in to Xplora?
Porting a phone number to Xplora is currently not possible. Instead, we can provide you with an Xplora SIM-card, allowing you to set up a new subscription with a new phone number.
